Monster Hat Emporium Review

I'm trying to be more involved in the Artist Alley community, getting and giving feedback, things like that. As I became a regular, something really caught my attention. Terrifying monsters. As scarves. Hairy, fangy, and with a bunch of eyes. Monster Hat Emporium is a creator of creatures both cute and creepy. While her bug-monster scarves weird me out (their faces are too spider like for me), the rest of Grue's stuff was just the right amount of spooky for me! I asked if she'd want to do a swap and after a few weeks of me being forgetful, finally got things rolling.

Bunny Blue

Picked up hand-sewing again and made a bunny. Inspired by The Tiny Tea Party, I made my own pattern and had a go at a teacup rabbit. I don't have minky, so flannel was the closest I could get to the softer parts like the top of the head, ears, and back. While not even being close to the same beautiful quality as her work, I had fun making it.

Pink Dragon Friend

I mentioned in the previous post that animal ice cream cones were a million times easier than making full plush. I meant it. This little dragon took me two days to make. To me, that's way too long for something this small. I mean, sure, there were some distractions along the way, but still. At least it turned out cute.
